Your old glasses can be donated where they will be recycled, with the income generated through the recycling process enabling VAO to deliver sustainable eye care services in partner countries:
- Establishing Vision Centres so that there are locally based eye care services to provide affordable eye tests and new glasses to all patients regardless of circumstance
- Training local eye care workers so that there are skilled professionals in our partner countries to deliver quality eye care services at all times
- Delivering eye care services to remote and isolated communities so that the poorest and most vulnerable people can be reached
We will be pleased to offer a £5 discount of your next glasses purchase when you recycle your old pair.
contact lens recycling
Antony Austin are proud to offer contact lens recycling to our customers.

In partnership with ACUVUE, you can bring your old contact lenses and containers into any of our branches, where they will be recycled.
If you prefer, you can also recycle from home, whereby your contact lens waste will be collected free of charge.
